RJ-Point is a leading acrylic fabricator in Malaysia producing all kinds of acrylic products and cast- sheets. The factory is located in a very old industrial area in Kuala Lumpur. With a very tight budget we was appointed to modify the exterior of the factory. The facade is covered with custom designed acrylic panels which are produced by RJ-Point creating a life size showroom for the company. The base of the panels is white to reflect most of the hot tropical sun. Colorful stripes show the diversity of acrylic and attract attention from far distance. A small relief in the panels creates more shade on the facade by giving it more depth. The acrylic panels in their natural form together with the unfinished concrete entrance give the factory a calm, yet playful look.
