MNS Conservation Resource Center, voluntary work

ENG

In 1940 the Malaysian Nature Society was born. Over the years they've created multiple conservation recourse centers including this center in Gerik
MNS stands for the protection of the natural habitat from the Malaysian wildlife such as tigers, tapirs and elephants. Besides that, this center works in close collaboration with the Orang Asli (Malaysia's ethnic group) to educate the current generations about their beautiful nature. We helped the center by giving the interior a facelift based on their tight budget. We tried to bring a piece of nature into the civilized world by bringing in local materials (some recycled). Together with the Orang Asli, the MNS team and volunteers the space is decorated.
